3 Years and 2 Months Old

Halloween? All trick and no treat if you ask me. They promised me a really scary face - a jump-out-of-your-skin scary face -and they gave me a cutsie, sweet little pumpkin face instead!
My Dad had a rat coming out of his skull and bloody scars in his face - I got a girlie velvet spider suit with velcro gloves.
I remember being scared last year but this year was a teddy bear's picnic in comparison.
I did go 'trick or treating' for the first time this year which I thought was weird - I had to ring people's doorbells, scare them half to death by screaming in their faces and they rewarded me with candies. The thing is, Mum had already bought a sack load of candy for halloween, so didn't we have enough already?
Omi from Germany was here for 2 weeks which was great. It took me a few days to train her, but she was pretty good at building helicopters and cars by the time she left. The first day she got here, I gave her my City Rescue Set to play with, it kept her quiet for hours. In the end, I had to show her how to put it all together, it was getting painful to watch.
We took a few rides out in the Chevy while she was here and she went to the pumpkin patch festival with us.
I don't think Omi has a kitchen though back in Germany because she was in ours all the time - Mum said she is welcome to it and always has a big smile on her face every time she opens the freezer.

We did lots of Chevy stuff again this month - Kars & Kids is a classic show to help the Texas School for the Deaf and we also did a 100 mile drive to raise money for the Dell's Children's Medical Center.

The big news this month is that our shipment of Fagus Wooden Toys finally arrived from Germany, just in time for the holidays. We also bought lots of new NIC Wooden Toys so I'll have lots to do with product testing between now and Christmas, but I'll try and find time to blog again next month.

3 Years And One Month Old

Howdy y'all, Hallo, Moin Moin and y'allright me ducks!

How cool is this, I have my own Blog! OK, I can hear some you of old'ns asking 'a what?'. so here is the Wikipedia definition: (If you are also asking 'wiki what?', it's an internet encyclopedia. If you are asking 'what's internet?', please leave my blog immediately!) "A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video".

I asked Dad if I could post my pictures and comments on my toy shop website but he said no, the toy shop is called Carl & Me and seeing as he is 'me' then only his pictures and comments could be posted there. So my blog is called Dad & Me and this time, I'm 'me'.

This month, I participated in the usual activities you would typically see a 3 year old engaging in. We went to a couple of car shows - Dad and Me both got a plaque - I won mine for being totally cute in my pedal car. but I didn't want to steal Dad's thunder so I told him I won it for a picture I painted (I have posted a photo of my 'prize winning creation', can't believe Dad fell for that one).

Our downtown park went Jurassic for a couple of weeks with a dinosaur display. To tell you the truth, I'm really not suprised that there's not many of them left - they don't move, don't know any tricks and have bad teeth - who would want to feed them.

I decorated my bathroom - it must have belonged to a girl before we moved in, it was all flowers and pink and angels, pretty disgusting. How any one can take care of business in a room like that is beyond me. I decided to give it a Texas State Flag theme fitting for a Lone Star like myself, and if the parents complain about the mess I make in there, I can remind them that everything's big in Texas.

I did the usual round of birthday parties, bouncy castles, fire engine visits, sunset dinners on the lake - but I won't bore you with the details.

I couldn't do everything in my social calendar because Dad needed help picking out some new toys for the holidays . Typical - he calls it his shop but he can't do a thing without me.

My Omi from Germany arrived last night so my life should be less boring for a couple of weeks at least.

My 3rd Birthday

Howdy y'all, Hallo, Moin Moin and y'allright me ducks!
3 at last! Thought I'd never see the day - perhaps now I'll get a little respect from my parents. As long as my feet are under their table, they'll have to get used to the fact that it's not just about them and when I say 'NO', I mean 'NO'.



Anyway - not a bad month at all. Started off going to the circus with Remi, a friend I hang out with. It was a bit boring though, so me and Remi did our own clowning around so we could leave. The parents felt bad that it was such a yawner and we got hamburgers and ice cream instead.

I went back to school last week in a bigger class with kids my age. My teacher, Miss Shannon, may be a challenge though. She's got 11 of us to teach, so I have to be extra cute to get her to where I had Miss Nancy last year - eating out of the palm of my hand. But I'm not worried, it's just a question of time.

Actually, my birthday was pretty cool. I LOVE opening presents and you all did a great job of making sure I had enough to open (don't get me wrong, there is room for improvement). I have increased my list of personal belongings to include a Fagus Fire Truck , camping kit, a city rescue train set , books, clothes, construction kit which lets me build 11 different things like a helicopter, airplane and motorcycle , rolling bear suitcase, puzzles, craft kits, butterfly catching game and cd's, etc. Not bad at all.....I threw a party in the evening for my mates at a cool place called Java Jungle - it's a mix between an indoor playground and starbucks, so I was able to keep the adults busy as well. The elephant room was packed and they left with hot dogs in their bellies and mickey mouse cake icing on their shirts - the kids enjoyed it too!
